I love walking into a client’s home and knowing right away that it is going to be a good session. A vibe/energy/aura/whatever you want to call it, some people you just click with. I arrived when mom was just finishing up feeding Grant and I offered to put him to sleep while she and her husband finished getting ready. Snuggling babies is definitely a perk of the job! Grant was the perfect little newborn model, only waking once for a snack and then out like a light. During lifestyle sessions, I usually work in the nursery, master bedroom, and living room and I lucked out with amaaazing light in every room. Not to mention, their home looks like a page out of a West Elm catalogue. I won’t say too much about the nursery because I am planning to do a blog post including my favorites so stay tuned for that!
