Spring took its time arriving in Chicago this year (remember that day in May we got snow…)! Luckily I had pushed my spring minis a week later than last year hoping to take advantage of the blooming trees at their peak. The first day of minis were filled with pink flowers and unseasonably warm temps and then a huge storm blew through the city, knocking every single pink petal from the branches and bringing in chilly weather. It is always stressful trying to reschedule so many sessions but thankfully I have great clients and we were able to accommodate everyone’s schedule by spreading out the sessions over the following weekdays. I am still in love with this location for spring minis but I may opt for one of the conservatories next year so we don’t have to worry about the weather! On the topic of mini sessions, chicago fall minis have just opened up! You are able to book minis on most days of the week as well as many weekends. Full sessions will get priority sunset booking as well as their choice of locations. Can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces!
